Vistara is a joint venture between the global business house the Tata Group and leading international airline company Singapore Airlines. The full-service airline is one of the most preferred way to fly within India and has an average passenger load capacity of more than 85%. As a brand strategy, the new airline wanted a seamless bond between the Tata Group’s values and Singapore Airlines’ service quality. Maxposure stepped in as a content marketing partner to help the brand create a story to support this integration and increase brand awareness among Indian flyers and also help generate revenue. The airline’s in-flight magazine, Vistara, published by Maxposure, reflects this content strategy, with articles that are focussed on unique topics in a tone that’s research-based and international. Articles on business strategies, economies and society, reinforce the brand’s aim to reach out to mostly businessmen and corporates, and premium class flyers. The print version is supported by very strong digital initiative, including mobile application, an effective social media presence and emailers that go out to their frequent flyer club members. Maxposure also created an Augmented Reality innovation, to reflect the airline’s new-age and technologically advanced image.
