The national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air, flies over eight million passengers every year. With over 60 years of flying experience, the full-service airline is the oldest carrier in the Middle East and is considered one of the most prestigious in the region. It connects all major GCC cities and flies to 50 destinations across the world with over 1,000 flights a week. As part of the airline’s search for a solution to connect its local status with its global identity, Maxposure publishes its eponymous in-flight magazine in both Arabic and English. The content highlights the GCC region – each issue featuring at least one local story premised on the Kingdom of Bahrain – and also promotes international destinations that the airline flies to. Keeping in mind Gulf Air flyers’ predominantly male demographic, the magazine features not only travelogues but also highlights sports, technology and adventure. Maxposure also supports the printed magazine with a mobile application and a bilingual digital version, available in English as well as Arabic, to cater to GCC customers and simultaneously multiply Gulf Air’s reach.
